Aywas is a collectible pet site for older teens and adults. Adopt as many pets as you want, and explore the seven regions of Ay for wild pets to capture and add to your collection. We are a submission-based virtual pet website, so you can color pets, create items, and create Human Avatar clothes for everyone else to enjoy. We offer battling, breeding, mini-games, an active forum, and the ability to create your own custom aywas. Color the adoptable bases, and even edit them to look more like your characters. The possibilities are endless!

The Spring Festival Seasonal Shop is finally open! There are new pets, fauna, and clothing items for sale, as well as the Choco Blossoms to create Spring Deer. You can find the PSD for them here.

The Seasonal Shop will remain open until 11:59 PM AST on May 31st, so be sure to make all purchases before then!

One new item has been stocked in Trash for Treasure! The Scribble Scrabble Shark is a collectable item that is more waterproof than it looks! This item will remain in stock until 11:59 PM AST on June 9th, so be sure to grab it before then!

The item that will be used to claim pets for this sale is the Spring Bouquet Exotic Egg! Over the next couple of days, the lovely exotic pets that will be available in the upcoming sale will be uploaded to the Exotic Pot for window shopping. They won't be going home with anyone until the sale officially begins, however! In case anyone needs a refresher, the Mayday Sale will run May 14th through May 19th, with May 20th being the normal credit day. For those of you who are new to the sales, "Special Credit" is credit that you can only accumulate during the sale by making purchases! You can read more about it here. The details for the days themselves will be posted separately in a day or so, so be sure to keep an eye out if you're interested!

This month's Premium Item is the Psychic Call! This item will give your pet the Adventure ability Psychic Call - allowing it to call a wild pet of your choice from that region into battle, from R10 - 50.

For the month of May, you may use your Jeweled items to create any previous May base! You can view the available bases in the Knowledge Base articles for the Jeweled Crystal, the Jeweled Hybrid Crystal, and the Jeweled Rare Crystal. If you want to be a Jeweled Custom Artist, please visit the hiring thread!

The Flubelle is currently the active Raw genus, which means that you can purchase the Pride Flubelle in the BP Shop! It will remain the active genus until July, so be sure to make a note of this in case you wish to make any!

As a reminder, submissions for the Mayday Exotic Sale are open until May 9th! If you're interested in creating a set for the sale, you can review the application process at the bottom of this news post.

Looks like a few new themed breeding add-ons have been added to the database! These were from the User Suggested Breeding Add-ons forum thread, so many thanks to everyone who has contributed so far. More may be added in the future, but I would like to stagger them out and it also is a big process (see: Brad is easily distracted) to implement more than a few at a time. The six new additions have been added to the BP shop and GP shop and can be freely purchased for the next week. They may become permanent additions in the future, and they are able to be pulled from the Themed Addon Box and Random Breeding Addon.

I am also looking for some artists to help me with an upcoming event. Please see this thread for more information. I would greatly appreciate your time and expertise!
